Passed this horse trailer on the highway a few weeks ago. Made no sense until I googled the phrase. Now I may understand the meaning but still have to question why anyone would want to paint it on their trailer.
Found this sign hanging over the side door of a coffee shop in Santa Fe, NM. That was three years ago and I still can't get my head around the name. Why would someone choose this for their business?

I had to google it, too... and I still don't get it.
ReplyDeletebut I do get the coffee!
I think I would have stuck with K.I.S.S. COFFEE!
ReplyDeleteHI Rita -- I still haven't looked up the meaning of either of those signs (I looked this morning and was going to do that before I commented).. interesting signs anyway...
ReplyDeleteAlso (on your other blog) I loved the red dirt picture. I used to have a T-Shirt that color that said "Alabama Dirt Shirt"! I was said when it wore out.
Apparently in a business context it means we don't deal in inferior merchandise. So they have good horses--no pigs.
ReplyDeleteYes. It is absolutely K.I.S.S Coffee. These signs are pretty weird. They'd leave you puzzled. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day! house painting
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Well, I have yet to google 'We don't rent pigs', but the coffee sign is priceless; it's as if the owner had asked someone to translate something he'd written for his sign into English, and they'd written back and said 'Keep it simple, stupid; 'Coffee'!'
ReplyDeleteLOL!
I don't get them, but they are both very funny!
ReplyDeleteHi Rita Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteI see you haven't posted for awhile. I am so hoping you two are okay. You are usually on top of things. Love this signs post. I wouldn't have gotten the one about the pigs either. Thank you Katney for sharing with us this evening.
I hope you will stop by. This is the Miracle Weekend makeover. I am one of the hosting sites. For every comment left, Guideposts magazine will pay a dollar, to the next cancer makeover patient. Please stop by and read the story about 9 year old Charlie, and bless me with a comment. Out goal between the 4 or 5 blogs is 5,000. I know we can do it. I would appreciate it, if you pass the word around to as many friends as possible.
Thank you sweetie for a wonderful post. I love it. Have a glorious weekend. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry
