"Maxine on Saturday" is hosted by Mary over at "Work of the Poet" and dedicated to one of my favorite ladies. Maxine is someone you either love or hate. She is a gal I can't help but love and who makes me wish I had the chutzpah to copy. After all, we all think like her but usually don't have the nerve to say it out loud.

Pink Saturday ----- Pink for little girls

Welcome everyone to this week's edition of Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.

My life has been so busy that I feel as if I am in a tail spend, as a result I have not had time for blogging. But, I had to take a few minutes this week to share with you a photo of a very special girl in my life. This is Brianna, for whom I sometimes babysit. She is two years old and just got her first pair of glasses and they were perfect for Pink Saturday.

I also wanted to share this shot of the blooms on the dogwood tree in my front yard, taken a few weeks ago.
