It is always pink over at Beverly's blog Pink Saturday. But, this week Tennessee Chick who host the Photo Hunters meme has picked pink for it's theme. So I am going to give you a doubleheader, a twofer or what might be called a overload of pink by some. Have a great 4th. and enjoy this brief moment away from the red, white and blue.
This cozy little pink house sits right at the edge of the levee, overlooking the Missouri River, in the town of New Haven, Missouri. The new levee that will hopefully prevent future flooding of the small riverfront town took over almost all of the back yard, leaving just enough space to add a small screened in porch so the owners can see the river and watch the people that stroll along the walking trail atop the levee. I was one of those walkers and that is how I discovered this cute little house.
I captured these roses peeking out of the fence of the house next door to the pink house above. I found the small pink blooms popping through a crack in the sidewalk during a walking tour of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
I was playing tour guide for some visiting Alabama cousins this last week and both of these historic towns were part of our adventures.
