Ruby Tuesday and Rednesday --- chili peppers

Tuesday is the day that Mary at "Work of the Poet" hosts Ruby Tuesday. Rednesday is a Wednesday meme hosted by Sue at "It's a Very Cherry World."

I have decided to combine both of these great tributes to the color associated with love, beauty and passion into one post. My selections this week are full of of spice and fire and some would say they are red hot. Here is my tribute to New Mexico and their love of chili peppers. These photos were taken during my first visit to New Mexico last fall. It may also turn out to be my one and only visit, but I will always remember the love the citizens of New Mexico have for chili peppers. Not only were chili's included in almost every dish we ordered but they were part of the decor in almost every home and public building we visited.

To join the fun or just check out what Red others are excited to share visit Mary and her friends at Ruby Tuesday and Sue and her friends from Rednesday

  1. An interesting post and series about red peppers and NM. I have always wanted to visit but doubt I will ever do so! Thank you for visiting. That was my third post about O'Keeffe this year already!

  5. These chilis are a wonderful ruby as they dry in the sun. I like a good tasting heat, not fiery but a deeper spicy flavor. The red treat looks so good, I'd like to grab a handful of these and start a pot oh chili (with beans) right about now...

  9. Who would think that chili peppers would make a great decoration? But they really do! I love that little chili pepper man. And although I don't eat them, I always grow a little chili pepper plant in the summer, because the peppers are so darn cute!
    Happy REDnesday!

Thank you for stopping by my site. Without your visits there would be no incentive to continue posting. So, having you here and reading your comments is the highlight of my day.

I regret that time does not always allow me to return visits to everyone who stops by, but, I will certainly do my best to get to everyone. I will definitely answer any questions you leave me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
