Shadow Shot Sunday #54

Between computer problems, illness and vacation it has been a while since I have been able to post to Shadow Shot Sunday. I have sure missed everyone and hope that I will not be absent again for a while.

My shots for today were taken during my recent trip to Omaha to visit my sister. Her children's school just happen to be having their annual Fun and Field Day events during our visit and so we made time each day to visit my three niece's (ages 6-9 and 11) classes to observe their competition in every thing from water balloon tossing to doing the Hokey Pokey.

In the event you had a problem figuring out what made these shadows here is the source. The two differ types of basket ball hoops photographed from many different angles is the culprit. Bt the way the ladies in this shot include me (in pink), my sister (in shorts w/ back to camera) and my mother (between us) along with two of my niece's teachers.

Have a great week everyone. For more great shadow shots click the camera badge to visit Hey Harriet and join in the fun.

  1. Great collection of shadows! They almost look like stick silhouettes in the first few photos!

  2. Marvelous, interesting group of shadow shots! Happy SSS! Enjoy your day!

  3. A basket ball hoop? Wow! The second last pic looks like a shadow of an angel. Very cool capture! Good to see you back again. We missed you. Have a super week ahead :)

  4. I like the shadow's at the playground.

  5. Very interesting shadow shots! I'm glad you said how you got them. Cool.

  6. I love your pictures! The first one reminds me of a masquerade mask!
    Have a nice day!

Thank you for stopping by my site. Without your visits there would be no incentive to continue posting. So, having you here and reading your comments is the highlight of my day.

I regret that time does not always allow me to return visits to everyone who stops by, but, I will certainly do my best to get to everyone. I will definitely answer any questions you leave me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
