Shadow Shot Sunday -- reunion shadows

Sunday has once again arrived and with it comes the best of our shadow shots. My shots this week were taken at my family reunion that was held last weekend.

You could not ask for a more perfect place to hold our reunion. This year we had perfect weather as well. Lots of sunshine and therefore lots of shadows to capture along with all the fun.

This first shot is of the Old Salt. He is covered in stripes provided by the pergola beside the pool.

The third photo will show you the source of the first two.

This last shot not only has the tree shadows on the ground but the reflections (or water shadows) of the trees, canoes and other items around the water.

Click to enlarge the last two shots. There is more detail than meets the eye on first glance.

Have a great week everyone. For more great shadow shots click the camera badge to visit Hey Harriet and join in the fun.

  4. Rita, what Harriet said about the location; Mom would just love to relax in that gazebo. And on close-up I ca nsee the hanging flowers ( look like maybe begonias? ) but not sure. And wonderful reflections!

Thank you for stopping by my site. Without your visits there would be no incentive to continue posting. So, having you here and reading your comments is the highlight of my day.

I regret that time does not always allow me to return visits to everyone who stops by, but, I will certainly do my best to get to everyone. I will definitely answer any questions you leave me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
