While on the hunt for another great Craigslist find on Friday we saw this lovely gate with two huge wreaths. It was the entrance to a mansion which seems a bit out of place on a country road in Missouri.
Snapped this shot today of the geraniums blooming on my kitchen window sill.

For a minute there I thought you guys went to Graceland...lol...Those are gorgeous wreaths and your geraniums must love where they are at.
ReplyDeleteLove those wreaths on the gates. Geraniums are such a hardly little bloomer. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat red shots - you are lucky to still have such beautiful geraniums!
ReplyDeleteLovely geranium!

The gate IS beautiful, but I especially like your blooming geraniums....indoors, what a green thumb you must have.

Lovely photographs - you can find colour everywhere (although I suspect even you would have been challenged in the blanket of white snow that descended a couple of weeks ago).
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for all the nice comments on the geraniums. They are lovely and I so enjoy them, but, all the credit goes to the Old Salt. He is the one with the green thumb.
ReplyDeleteI thank you all for your comments they are the icing on the cake for me.
The gate with the pretty red wreaths certainly made a lovely post for today.
ReplyDeleteHappy red everything. I thought those gates were from Graceland too. Until I don't see any music notes on it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

I adore red geraniums, one of my absolute favorite things!

How nice to have geraniums blooming at this time of the year! My Mom once told me that she remembers her Grandma always having geraniums as a houseplant. I would love to have some sitting on my windowsill, but we have too many trees and unfortunately they wouldn't get enough sun!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday!

I love geraniums, especially red ones. Very pretty for Christmas season.
