I knew instantly what I wanted to share because I did just that earlier this spring. While walking with my cousin around his yard I snapped some shots of his unusual yard art. All items that would normally be used or found indoors.
When was the last time you saw a badly tarnished silver plated
coffee server proudly displayed in a bed of ivy.
Or a nicely rusted tin urn.
Or perhaps, a brightly colored ceramic vase.
Just goes to show that anything can be turned into colorful yard art.
I suggest you hop on over to Karen's blog and check out what Inside out or outside in items others have found to share. Perhaps you would even enjoy joining the fun. Just click here.
That's art!
ReplyDeleteSue.
Love the uses of those things outside.
ReplyDeleteI had a silver tea service that I gave away a long time ago....
to think I could have used it as yard art!
Love the coffee server decoration! Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOh, neat! I can't decide which urn/vase/vessel or which photo I like the best. I especially like the way the background plants and stone complement each item.
ReplyDeleteAt least they brighten up the garden, good idea to use them.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteWow, yes your cousin's yard was made for this challenge. I've seen bird feeders made of teacups -- but the silver urn here is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteQue lindos! Gostei da idéia! beijos, tudo de bom, chica
ReplyDeleteExcellent yard art! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely - certainly add a wee bit of colour to the outdoors don't they? :)
ReplyDeleteSuch an interesting "inside out!" That first one almost looks like a funeral urn!
