If you stopped in last week for Pink Saturday then you know I switched posts at the last minute so I could honor my cousin who passed away. This confession is the post that was originally scheduled for last week.
I'm afraid that I've been caught in a lie and by the Old Salt, no less. I always ask my dear husband to proofread my posts to keep me from posting some horrible grammatical mistake. A couple weeks ago I mentioned that pink is not one of my favorite colors and I seldom purchase anything pink. Well, the minute the Old Salt read that he stopped and turned to me and said "This is not true. You wear pink a lot." I said, "No, I do not." He said, "Well, what color is that shirt you're wearing because you wear it a lot? I promptly said yellow. He suggested I take a second look. I still said yellow. Then he said "Well, what color are your shoes?"
Well blogging friends I was busted, big time. Seems that my favorite yellow shirt is more than yellow, and my favorite pair of summer sandals are........guess what?

ReplyDeleteAs for pink, I just have to say that I have confessed more than once in here that I am a pink fraud. My favorite color is yellow and has been for as long as I can remember. I love your husband, he doesn't let you get away with anything. You sound like the perfect couple.....happy and in love. Happy Pink Saturday to you once again my friend, and be well, Char
