Yard art Thursday -- Light house

Welcome to this week's edition of yard art Thursday. It has been a long time since I have been able to participate in this wonderful meme. Living in a small town, it is rare to find something new to photograph. But, last week some business required us to travel to a town that was in the same county where I spent my high school years. So I decided to take the Old Salt on a bit of an adventure and see if I could find the house we lived in back then. Of course all I had to go on was a forty-four year old memory of the area. And since the address back then was a rural route I didn't even have a street name to key into our GPS.

Well, needless to say, that idea was a total bust. The population of that county has grown at least twenty fold and the old country roads are now paved subdivision streets. But, I did come home with a photo of some yard art I captured during our little adventure.

Mary T. at the Work of the Poet hosts Yard Art Thursday. To join the fun or just check out the yard art discovered by others visit Mary and her friends at Work of the Poet.
