  1. I don't recognize that view...I don't think I have been on that road! Although we did spend a good bit of time wandering around looking for a few places in particular - like an Italian restaurant on The Hill that Dan remembered, and a garden center that has plants on the roof that the SIL remembered...

    1. Linda, the round tower use to be the headquarters of Ralston Purina and is now the Millennium Hotel. It sits across a busy and wide highway that divides it from the grounds around the Gateway Arch. However it is within walking distance of the Arch by way of a foot bridge that crosses the highway. This was taken crossing from the Illinois side of the river into the city.

  5. The closest city to me would be Tampa, about two hours away....but I sure would like to visit to get some great shots like you have here. Wonderful architecture.

  6. I've never been, but thanks to this shot I now want to go - I've always been a fan of modern architecture precisely because of the lines and forms. This picture captures the why. Awesome contribution to this week's theme!

    Keep 'em coming :)

  7. Wow, that circular building is tall pretty cool! And then I noticed there were 2 circular buildings side by side. Never been to St. Louis.

  8. These buildings complement each other so well, don't they? Appreciate when the city architecture looks like it goes together. Good eye.
