This is my first Pink Saturday post and I will be honest and admit that I am not really a pink person. At least not the girly shades of pink. I do like the mauves and other more purple pinks though. After my first husband's death I wanted a change and redid my condo in the most girly style with lots of mauves and purples. But, that all changed when the Old Salt moved in and was not comfortable living in a floral garden.
While pink may not be my first color choice, I do love taking photographs and I never let color stop a good photo. Recently, while returning from a trip to the city we stopped at a Cracker Barrel for dinner. As usual I started across the parking lot with camera in hand. My effort was repaid when I spotted this pink rocker sitting by the door. I couldn't resist sharing it with all the pink loving folks who visit Beverly's Pink Saturday.
Any of you that have visited a Cracker Barrel have to be familiar with their trademark porch lined with rockers and barrels covered with a checker board. This was the first pink rocker I had ever seen anywhere. It turned out to be a limited edition rocker numbered and autographed by the Queen of Pink, Miss Dolly Parton. I hope you enjoy it. And, if you hurry you may still have time to acquire one complete with Dolly's signature for your front porch or patio.
To get your dose of pink or share in the fun visit Beverly and her friends at How Sweet the Sound here http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com

A few years ago we traveled to Branson and we went to Dollywood. The real Dolly was not there, but it was a fun place to visit. We had never been to a Cracker Barrell restaurant, either - but we loved the rockers out front. I think this is a GREAT Pink Saturday Post! Pink Hugs!
