Ruby Tuesday ---Sightseeing Red

Ruby Tuesday has arrived once again. What better way to honor Mary the teach who hosts Ruby Tuesday than by posting some great photographs that contain a little or a lot of Red. My entries in today's fun were taken during a recent sightseeing trip to St. Louis. The first shot is Bush Stadium, the home of the Cardinals and the location of this year's All Star Game, as seen from the top of the Gateway Arch. Please click the photos to enlarge for best detail.

Found this red bollard on the riverfront anchoring the lines of the Tom Sawyer paddle-wheeler. The Tom Sawyer and his sister ship the Becky Thatcher take hourly cruses up and down the Mississippi River starting in front of the Arch.
This red breasted Robin built its nest on an electrical box inside the ramp that leads down to the inside of the Arch. The crowds of tourists streaming by didn't seem to be a concern to mama Robin.

Have a great week everyone and for more things red, visit Ruby Tuesday at WORK OF THE POET

  1. Looks like a very interesting place !!!!And Mississippi River is something I would so much want to see ! I have watched so many American movies and that river must be so big and beautiful :)

  2. What a great panoramic view of the stadium

My R T is now posted if you'd like to stop by to view. Have a terrific Tuesday.

  3. What is it with robins and the places they build their nests? One started to build on top of our security light -- the one that goes on at night via motion sensor. Did she not realize this might wake the babies? (We moved the nest just fine)

    Nice photos!

  4. Hi Rita, Nice to meet you. I read your bio and love the happy ending to your story. Cute nicknames too. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

  5. Wonderful reds ... my favorite is the last today ;--)
    Hugs and blessings,

Thank you for stopping by my site. Without your visits there would be no incentive to continue posting. So, having you here and reading your comments is the highlight of my day.

I regret that time does not always allow me to return visits to everyone who stops by, but, I will certainly do my best to get to everyone. I will definitely answer any questions you leave me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
