Yard art Thursday -- Mr. Gobble Gobble

Since today is Thanksgiving, and the day many like to call turkey day, what better to post for yard art Thursday than a turkey. In this case a turkey made from scrap medal.

I captured this gobbler in my cousin's yard during a visit last week. Bill's hobby is recycling trash into anything and everything artistic . I featured some of his pigs made from milk cans last weekend on Pink Saturday. This turkey is made from an old propane tank and has a yard towel for a beak and large washers for eyes.

I hope that your Thanksgiving turkey will not be as tough as this old bird. I also pray that you are spending the day with family and friends and that our Lord has provided you with much to be thankful for this year.

I am linking this post to yard art Thursday.

  2. Your cousins talent is really different and very creative. My friend Janet says we should all "Gobble til we Wobble" today but I'll try to show some restraint. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you for stopping by my site. Without your visits there would be no incentive to continue posting. So, having you here and reading your comments is the highlight of my day.

I regret that time does not always allow me to return visits to everyone who stops by, but, I will certainly do my best to get to everyone. I will definitely answer any questions you leave me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
