Taking advantage of the end of season sales at the garden shop I purchased a set of matching flower pots and set them on the patio. I noticed that the shadow produced by the chimney of our fire pit, the deck support post and the pots was interesting and grabed the camera. Once I was added to the shot we had what appears to be a city of skyscrapers, don't you think?
On Friday, the Old Salt and I had the good fortune of being substitute babysitters for the children of our next door neighbors. This next shot was taken during an outing to the part with the children. Can you guess what it is?
I cropped the shadow from the following shot. One of our charges was swinging on his stomach and the action made this very unique shadow.

A very clever series of shadows! And yes! You did manage to create the illusion of skyscrapers!
ReplyDeleteVery clever girl...and how cute is that shot of a little boy in his element...NEAT!
ReplyDeleteYes that first one does look like a shadowy cityscape! Very cool! And that last one looks like the little boy is hovering because I can't see the swing at all. The boy can fly! Cute!!!
ReplyDeleteNifty shadow series ... I especially LOVE the second one and am glad you shared the source ;--)
